Absolute Energy and CHS is in the process of transitioning cash bid texts/emails and grain offers from DTN to MyCHS. To continue receiving notifications for cash bids and manage grain offers, please register for a MyCHS account MyCHS Customer App. If you already have a MyCHS account, please verify your contact information within the portal settings and follow the instructions provided in the FAQs section for signing up for cash bid texts and emails MyCHS Customer App. In the next month, the DTN app will no longer support grain offers and all activity will transition to MyCHS. Any open offers will be transferred to MyCHS, where you can easily cancel or modify them through MyCHS and the new mobile app.

Priced Contract, Hedge To Arrive Contract, Basis Contract, and other specialty contracts.

Cash Plus Contract – Receive a program payment for an offer to sell additional grain in the future at price that supports you grain marketing plan.

Price Builder Bonus – Last Day Contract – an equal quantity of Bushels is priced each day. daily pricing continues until either the pricing period end date or the trigger price is traded or settled. If the tigger price is traded or settled, the pricing concludes and the potential additional quantity obligation is null/void. if on the last day of the pricing period, the referenced futures price closes above the premium price and the trigger price has not been traded or settled, you will be obligated to deliver the additional quantity.

Current Grain Bids & Information

When around back in the two lanes going into the grain dumps, stay in your lane until dumped. Do NOT cross lanes. Trucks hauling corn, please make sure you are stopping at the stop signs by the railroad tracks coming into Absolute Energy. When dumping Corn on the dump pits do not leave until corn is below the grates.

Grain Dump Hours:

Week of Jan 12th – Friday Closed.

Week of Jan 19th – Monday thru Friday 7:00am to 2:00pm

Today and the Week of Jan 12th Absolute Energy will take Corn up to 17.9% Moisture. We take NO shrink.

No Discount on Moisture at 15.5% and below, -.035 cents per half point of Moisture to 17.9% Max.

Grain Testing: Corn with Greater than 2ppm Vomatoxin subject to rejection.

Corn unloads with no contracts will be spot priced on the next day’s close and settled by 2:00pm that day unless called in before.

Truckers hauling corn, please make sure you are stopping at the stop signs by the railroad tracks coming into Absolute Energy.
When dumping Corn on the dump pits unload back hopper first and then front hopper, and do not leave until Corn is below the grates. Thanks Absolute Energy.

Important Rules for Receiving Grain at the Receiving Building

  1. Stop at a stop sign. Wait for the truck on the pit to leave the building before entering.
  2. Stay in designated lanes 1 and 2; lane 3 – DDGS trucks only.
  3. Open back hopper first.
  4. Do not allow corn to pile above grating. This will plug the dust recovery system and shutdown receiving.
  5. Close hoppers before leaving the building.
  6. Riders must stay in their truck.
  7. Do not leave any trucks unattended in the grain truck line (no leaving trucks including overnight).

Truckers may leave their trucks only to:

  • Dump Grain in Grain Receiving Building
  • Use Restrooms set up by Scalehouse or Grain Receiving Building
  • Pass Paperwork at DDG’s Loadout Area
